Easy DIY Cake Topper

Hi there,

It has been a long weekend! Not feeling well and the kids have been sick and school starts back Wednesday! Praying that we are all well by then!

I recently added a cake toppers to my shop. I love them and I wanted to show you just how easy they are to assemble!

Materials you will need:

Printer
Heavy White Card stock
Scissors
Ribbon (if you desire)
Glue
Popsicle sticks or candy sticks.

Tip: You can have your items printed at a local print shop.  I love to use staples, it is .98 cents a sheet! That's it!

Your cake topper should print out something like this. Depending on your age, the age will be different. :) Can also change the colors around!

After you have your sheet infront of you, the next step is to cut around the black like. Make sure you cut on the outside of the black line not the inside.

Next, after you are all finished cutting out your cake topper , you will want to glue it to the front of a popsicle stick or candy stick. I like to use a hotglue gun, but you can use whatever you like.

When your all done it should look something like this! You can add ribbon if you like!

Pretty easy huh? I just love them!

Well, It has been a long day! And its only 1:00! :o) We went to zacks school this morning to take cupcakes and invitations. And silly old me dropped the invitations in the rain water on the way in! But, the envelopes were BLAH! But the invitations were saved!! :o) Anyway I thoughtI would take a few moments to share zacks birthday party invitations with you! I think they turned out great! We are doing the boy polka dot theme from my collection like the crown picture down below. But, I am adding a twist to it! Zack is having a shark birthday so I am adding a few shark decorations into the mix! We do not have a pool and I have an 8 month old so a beach party is kinda out of the question. So we are going to buy shark slip in slides from walmart and put them up in the back yard along with a little kiddie pool! I think its going to be a lot of fun! Hope your all having a great day! The start of Zack's 7th birthday!

Here is the start of Zack's 7th birthday party! Wait until I add the Shark bait , and shark tags to the crown. As zack would say, It's going to look so COOL! :o) One of my favorite things about this party style is, It looks fabulous just the way it is! No Need to add anything else. So if your not sure what party theme you want to do just leave it the way it is! Or we can add any image to the hats and crown to make it coordinate with any party theme! I LOVE it!

So, I am finally done with Madilyns birthday invitation! I am doing a Dora theme party for her! She LOVES Dora! I did a few different invitations but, this one is my favorite! Her birthday party is going to be so much fun! I am working on the birthday hats now! I will post more pictures later!
